Tell me it will get better after tomorrow...PLEASE!

So today is day two of clear liquid diet and I am starving.  I did okay yesterday till about 5pm and then it kicked in, stomach growling (loud), feel sick, hunger.  I woke up like that as well.  I am drinking a TON, but that seems to almost make it worse.  This morning I am trying an isopure, we will see how that does.  Will I feel less like this post banding? The thought of two weeks of liquids is making me scared.
My hubby was so sweet last night, my family had pizza and I made some comment about how it looked SO good and he said..."Not as good as that Jello looks!"  Ha ha.  It was total bullshit, but very cute.
Well ladies and gentleman....I think this is my last post as an un-banded woman!  See you on the other side!

It will be better tomorrow - the third day was the worst, then it was all smooth sailing. It's hard but you won't regret it. Good luck and see you on the other side!

You're almost there. That was so cute what your husband said. Wonderful support.

The pre-op diet is by far the hardest part of the whole ordeal. After you're banded you really won't be all that interested in food right away. It might take a week for you to really want to eat. And then after that, you'll start to see progress, a pound or two here and there will start falling off, and I swear that mental motivation keeps you from feeling super hungry!! Just go out of your way to make sure you're getting enough protein. It really is the best way to curb hunger.

Just one more day - the clear liquids was not that bad for me post diet because I really didn't feel hungry for the first week - the 2nd week of clear liquids post surg I thought I might gnaw my arm off.

I struggled a lot with pre-op. I felt so hungry I felt sick until about 3 days before surgery and then I didn't feel hungry at all. After surgery I didn't feel hungry for weeks - at least that mind numbing hunger and then I just changed how I ate and how much water I drank and it went away. So it will get better!!!

It will be better after surgery, and the longer you do it the more your body will get used to it, so it will get better. I know it sucks, but hang in there, you can do it!!! GOOD LUCK!

Post op diet bites the big one! After that it gets easier and easier (at least physically, emotionally your on your own ha ha). This is what I told myself for my week of post op diet. I HAVE to do it, if I can do this I can do anything, and I NEED to prove that I can do anything, because i had failed alot of diets and I was just not going to allow myself to fail again!!
Good luck, you are 2 days done, that 1/7 of the way there!!!

Um OMG - I'd have cut his nads off when he said that. No one eats pizza in front of me if I can't have it. LOL. You can do this. I know you can. I do....I believe in you!
