I am a 31 year old wife and mother of 2. I am currently on a journey to "lap-band land". I hope to have my surgery July 2010. I am a stay-at-home mom and also do daycare for a little girl with special needs. I am hoping to gain support and encouragement from others whom have gone down the same road! Thanks for reading!

it does! mine stopped at the 6 month range! it needs to heal...
oh I was just about to ask the same thing!
I'm about 2 months out, and it was fine up until last week
I think I might have twisted too quickly and it might have irritated my port because now when I laugh or cough it hurts :(
good lord.... 6 months? I'm only 2 weeks out of surgery and I keep kneeing myself in it when I get up and down out of a chair or bed! Definitely the 'strangest' part of this procedure so far.
I have minimal pain on and off, but nothing major. I'm 3 months out.
I am 15 months out of surgery, I have no pain, except now that I am smaller ( and my port pokes out) when I use my belly to hold things up it is tender, which is much different from the soreness I remember from surgery, it will go away, no worries :)
I'm only 2 weeks out and mine is pretty comfortable. Some just heal quicker than others; hopefully your pain will subside quickly!
Yep - must go away cos i can't remember it ever hurting! Wierd hey?!? Maybe i blanked it out....
It does, it takes time. Even though the surgery is less invasive its still surgery! You will feel better.
I agree with everybody else! It will go away.
